Nope, VLC only. You know, when you try to actually watch something, you don't usually mess with your software/PC. At least, I don't like to do that. Suffice to say, a lot of other channels didn't have the problem at the time (I was switching to spanish F1 channel a few times), or the same channel - Sky Sports F1 UK - didn't have ANY of the problems in the middle of the night, around 4am, so I know it's not my VLC, or my connection, or anything on my side.

I explain you. These streams are in 1920x1080 so vlc is buggy. You need to try with mx player pro or kodi.

OK, I understand that it's a possibility, but if VLC is the problem in my case, how one can explain that the same channel, using the same software (VLC) is working flawlessly at 4am in the morning, when there is not much traffic anyway?

Configure your vlc to software decoding and increase buffer size.

Guys, guys... VLC is NOT the problem! What are you trying to do with these posts? Mess with people's heads? If it's F1 channel and if it's sole purpose is to show live race of F1 and if it doesn't deliver...and when you play the same channel at 4am when there's no F1 race (and probably hardly any stream "peers") it works perfect, would you mess with your VLC/any software and say to yourself "hmmm, today if was really bad during live race, now in the middle of the night it's OK...let me mess with my VLC..."?

Don't get me wrong - I really really WANT Rapid to be good and long lasting service, because I'm tired of searching for a good quality provider. It was more than a decade (satellite cs and now iptv) of hearing the same ol' "the problem is on your side".

Vlc is the problem, i was having this issues with full HD channels. Now with mx player pro it's not problem. The full HD channels goes well. And don't miss to check your connection speed. My latency is 11 ms, this the best from my freebox. So i don't have any issue. I can say to check the player or change it and check your connection and contact fai if there is problem ( use VPN too to see)

Fox Sports NL - tonight (weekend) during NFL game, HD channel first half no problems what so ever...second half buffering non-stop, unwatchable. SD channel no problem at all. Yes, I guess that's my VLC player making trouble. lol

I will never, ever, never-ever pay for any kind of "provider service" for longer period than ONE month. Whichever "savings" are offered. NEVER-EVER!

Also, I've noticed, some people are suggesting some software called "mx player pro" or something along those lines. My inquiry returned results that are describing mentioned software as an android based one... I don't have the slightest idea why would someone suggest android based software to people that are obviously using windows OS ("mx player pro for android instead of VLC for windows, because VLC sucks" - I don't get it. Did I miss something?). I really don't have the intention to watch the game on 5'' screen...

Does VPN actually help with buffering issues ? I personally can't understand this. Most VPN slow down connection and will affect all devcies in your home as you will need to configure in router if you need it on Kodi , Mag and so.

i think that this will only help if your ISP are blocking this partiular connection and not with general , peak hours buffering.
