Okay question here is can I create a custom UK and USA msu list to add to my smart IPTV app.

However I would want to edit the file so the default audio is set to English without audio description.
The reason I NEED to do this as my LG smart TV will not support changing audio tracks.

Is this possible if so any guides ?

    Hello,

Yes, you can use a standard text list - I do the same.

    Here's a few examples:
    Ie.

    group,UK Sports

    skysports1.uk,Sky Sports 1 UK,http://urltolink.here/0001.ts,en
    skysports2.uk,Sky Sports 2 UK,http://urltolink.here/0002.ts,en

The above will create a group called UK sports and it will contain Sky Sports 1 UK and Sky Sports 2 UK. The audio will also be forced to english. You don't need to add the audio track in.

    Ie.

    group,GROUP-NAME
    EPG-ID,CHANNEL-NAME,CHANNEL-URL,AUDIO-TRACK

There's lots more examples in the instructions section on the Smart IPTV website.

You can also password protect a whole group (if you are adding adult channels etc). To do this, just add a four digit code after the group name.

    Ie. group,Adult,0000

This will make the user enter a pin of 0000 when trying to view the adult channels.

It might be also worth mentioning that to be able to change the audio track you need to change the stream player type to NC MPEG or NC Auto in the settings menu (blue button). It will not work with webOS player selected.

@Swift IPTV so if I add "en" at the end of the line will that make English the default language?

What would be the audio track for English audio description as I don't want this.

Also how do you make sure subtitles stay off so cheers mate.

Adding en to the end of the URL should force the audio language to be english. I think "NAR" is the audio descriptive stream.

I think you press the red button on your remote and then press the green button to switch subtitles off.

Depending on your WebOS version - The Smart IPTV website says to change the player type to NC Auto or NC Mpeg? Could try that. Let me know, as i'm looking to do the same thing :)

if i change to NC Auto or NC Mpeg, you get subtitles and you Cant turn them off sadly. you can only turn subtitles on and off when in webos mode.

i thought by putting the ,en at the end of line would stop audio discription unless ,en is the audio discription track?
