In short, yes you can record IPTV channels.
if you have a VU+ Duo and you are expecting to watch one IPTV channel while you are recording another IPTV channel, it will not work. With rapidtv and IPTV streams you only have one channel access at a time per account. You can still do that with your normal sattellite channels but with IPTV you will be blocked by your account rights on the IPTV server. See https://support.rapidiptv.net/hc/en...devices-at-the-same-time-on-one-subscription-

Regarding the IPTV bouquets. Unfortunately, from rapidiptv you receive only a m3u iptv channel list that is valid for PC. If you want to use this list in your enigma2 box then you need to convert it.
You can covert the m3u streaming channels for PC to the enigma2 bouquet format standard.
See the thread about that: https://forum.rapidiptv.net/threads/enigma2-boxes-howto-convert-m3u8-m3u.823/

Once you have the normal bouquet (channel list) then you can put it on your vu+ with DreamboxEDIT and use the same functionality that is available with the other satellite bouquets.

However, there is a problem with EPG and Logos http://www.lyngsat-logo.com/tvcountry/de_4.html. In order, to assign the EPG and Logo to a specific channel the channel needs an identifier http://siptv.eu/codes/. They are standard identifiers that are used by Rytec EPG systems see https://rapidiptv.com/threads/epg-most-wanted.788/.

There was a plan from rapidiptv to add this general identifier so that you can use the internet Rytec EPG sources or XMLT importer of your enigma2 box to download the EPG to your bouquets. I don´t know the status. That was discussed on: https://forum.rapidiptv.net/threads/logo-and-epg.1079/page-11#post-11674 and https://rapidiptv.com/threads/epg-most-wanted.788/
Currently, that works with the KODI plugin (which normally is also available in some VIX,VTI blackhole enigma2 images)

For Enigma2 it has been created a specific plugin called XCplugin. However, i haven´t seen working. It does exactly what KODI does but automatically by the rapidiptv servers, it just download the bouquets, EPG and Logos to your box by the plugin. Unfortunately, I haven´t tried yet.
XCplugin should do all this bouquet automatic download, EPG sync and Logos for you.

    Best regards
