    Suddenly it doesn't work with wlan, only 3G / LTE. So somehow my router does not allow the connection anymore?

    I've restarted my router (fritzbox), now it is working again. Befor I was getting the message from vlc (log file) "http access error cannot connect to clientportal.link:80 ...".

    Anyway, solved now.
