    Hi folks,

I'm a new member and I've just setup a MAG 250 with the Portal setup. It works like a charm. I'm just wondering, how would the user experience be different if I setup the playlist on the native MAG 250 software instead of using Portals?

    1. Is the User Interface/User Experience better?
    2. What do you prefer and why?
    3. Any features one lacks vs the other?

    Thanks :)

    1) Yes, the interface is fine to me
    2) Mag Box, because the quality of channels is very good, epg and logos are integrated. The channel switch is fast.
    3) Both have same features

Thanks mate, I might give it a go this weekend to test the difference by myself. Just need to remind myself to disable the portal before doing so.

    Cheers.

m3u sub can be used on other devices.

so MAG sub is a dedicated MAG portal sub while m3u line can be loaded on any device that supports m3u playlist (you can watch on one device at a time).

    Hi Sean,

    So could I:
    1) Ask for another M3U URL (since the one given has expired)
    2) Configure the MAG to use the M3U
    3) With that, alternate between laptop and TV (as long as they don't work at the same time -> BAN)

    Thank you for your answer.

    Vitor.

    Hi,

Thanks for that but I am a paid customer directly to IPTV. I was just wondering if that list of steps was ok by you?

    Thanks!

    2) No.
    3) You can use any device with an M3U account but only 1 device at the same time.
