    Hello

    I have the MPEG-2 but lack VC-1.

Are the streams VC-1 ? They seem to be standard MPEG-4, correct me if I'm wrong i'd just like to avoid buying a license for VC-1 if it's useless...

no you do not vc-1, just the mpeg2.

can you try the below setting in osmc

"Settings" > "Video" > "Playback" > "Adjust display refresh rate to match video" - On start/stop

    see that helps

I tried that and also tried deactivating hardware acceleration from both players in Kodi/OSMC.

Thanks for your help though, staff was nice to refund me, i won't investigate further on why it didn't work. I guess under the hood Kodi on raspberry pi isn't the same as on PC...
